The Nepal Biotechnology Association (NBA) values the privacy of its customers and uses their personal information solely for legitimate business purposes. This includes responding to inquiries, providing services, managing relationships with editors, authors, clients, and business contacts, and marketing our services. Relationship:

NBA operates an Association Management and email list program to inform customers and contacts about our services, publications, and events. Marketing messages may contain tracking technologies to analyze subscriber engagement and build subscriber profiles.

Participants are responsible for their belongings, and the NBA will not be held accountable for any lost or stolen items.

Insurance:

Registration fees do not include any form of insurance.

Press and Media:

Press permission must be obtained from the NBA’s Conferences Organizing Committee, and speakers or delegates cannot be quoted without written approval.

Transportation:

Participants are responsible for their own transportation and parking.

Requesting an Invitation Letter:

For security purposes, personalized invitation letters will only be sent to registered conference attendees upon request.

Cancellation Policy:

If the event is canceled, registrants will receive a 100% credit for the registration fee, which can be utilized for another NBA event within one year of the cancellation.

Postponement Policy:

If the event is postponed and attendees cannot attend on the rescheduled dates, they will receive a 100% credit for the registration fee, valid for another NBA event within one year of the postponement.

Transfer of Registration:

Fully paid registrations can be transferred to another person from the same organization or to another NBA conference, with written notification. Transfers made within 14 days of the conference are not eligible for a refund.

Visa Information:

Participants are advised to apply for visas in a timely manner. Best Paper Awards will not directly contact embassies or consulates on behalf of visa applicants. Visa issues are not covered by the cancellation policy.

Refund Policy:

All bank charges for refunds are the responsibility of the registrant. Refund eligibility depends on the timing of cancellation, with a service fee deducted for cancellations made within 60 days of the conference.

Accommodation Cancellation Policy:

Hotels may have their own cancellation policies, and participants should inquire about these policies before making changes to their accommodation bookings.

Our Authorization Policy:

By registering for the event, participants grant NBA permission to use their likeness, image, name, voice, and comments for publication and promotional purposes. Photography and videography during sessions are prohibited.
