The Nepal Biotechnology Association (NBA) warmly invites applications from eligible candidates for the NBA Best Research Article Award of the Year 2026. Two categories of awards are available — one exclusively for NBA members and one open to every Nepalese biotechnology researcher.
🎖 Award Categories
Category A · NBA Members Only
NBA Best Research Article Award of the Year 2026
Prize: Rs. 15,000 + Certificate
- First author must be a Nepalese citizen
- Must be an NBA life member
- At least 50% of research work must be done inside Nepal
- Manuscript published in 2025 in an SJR-ranked journal (Q1–Q4)
- Major field of article must be biotechnology
Category B · Open to Everyone
NBA Best Research Article Award of the Year 2026
Prize: Rs. 30,000 + Certificate
- First author must be a Nepalese citizen
- At least 50% of research work must be done inside Nepal
- Manuscript published in 2025 in an SJR-ranked journal (Q1–Q4)
- Major field of article must be biotechnology

📄 Required Documents
- Copy of the published article
- A self-declaration of the Nepalese institution's contribution (in percentage)
- List of total experimental works, clearly stating which works were conducted inside Nepal
